It’s one of the best times of the year to score deep discounts on just about everything. Amazon’s Prime Day is essentially Black Friday in July, bringing the best sales of 2025 so far. Rather than the two days Amazon has done in the past, Prime Day has been extended to four days, giving you two extra days to save. Like previous years, Amazon brought back its three-for-two vinyl deal. So, if you buy two albums, you can get a third for free. There are tons of albums to choose from in all music genres; no matter your taste, there’s something for you.
To score this deal, you must add three vinyls to your Amazon cart. Once you check out, you’ll notice that the total price of your lowest-priced album will be discounted from the order total. That means you’ll want to grab three similarly priced items to make the most of Amazon’s deal. It’s not just vinyls included in this promotion either, you can mix and match with CDs, books, and even 4K Blu-Rays.
After scrolling through page after page of the three-for-two vinyl promo on Amazon, I curated a collection of my favorites. However, I know everyone’s taste in music is pretty unique and personal. So, if my selections aren’t to your liking, be sure to check out the full sale for even more options.
Buy Two, Get One Free Vinyl at Amazon
I’m a massive music fan and spend a good deal of time blabbing on TikTok about music history, which focuses mainly on rock and pop music of the '60s and '70s. That means my music preferences generally skew towards those eras and genres. Still, I did my best to spice things up with a little variety, but again, you might want to scan the promo yourself to find something more to your taste.
If you're looking to grab a gift, it's hard to go wrong with the Beatles' Abbey Road. The final album to be recorded by the band (not released) is iconic, and it’s already been discounted, even before the promo. Sticking with classics, The Doors’ The Soft Parade 50th Anniversary Edition is a nice 180-gram album to grab while it’s on sale. Or maybe you're feeling nostalgic after Black Sabbath’s final show last weekend, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Limited Edition, is even a part of the three-for-two deal.
Now, for those looking for something a bit more modern, let's say early aughts and newer, I’ve found a few excellent albums on sale. Starting strong, Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE Deluxe Edition LP is a vinyl everyone should have in their collection. Tyler, the Creator, is another brilliant artist, and his sixth studio album, IGOR, is one of his best. Want some peaceful, dreamy comfort music? I’d recommend giving Bon Iver’s 22, A Million a listen — nothing relaxes me more than when I hear Justin Vernon get on the mic. If these picks aren’t your cup of tea, “I’m sorry I can’t be perfect.” Wise words from Simple Plan’s album No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls, which is also part of the promo.
There are plenty of other top-tier vinyls that are part of the three-for-two promotion. But no matter which you choose, they all deliver that wonderful analog experience that can’t be replicated anywhere else. It’s hard to beat that ritual of flipping through albums, placing one on the platter, and waiting for the needle to drop. Just be sure you have a great record player to pair with your new vinyl; the last thing you want to do is damage it during its first spin.
Do you need to be a Prime Member to shop this sale?
This is one of the rare promotions for Prime Day that doesn’t require an Amazon Prime membership to enjoy the discount. There is a catch, though, as you’ll need to be prepared to pay for shipping, unless you spend a certain amount. Generally, free shipping kicks in automatically when you spend over $35, but orders may take longer to arrive.
