Marvel Studios is currently going through a crucial transitional period. Correspondingly, the LEGO sets are also at a crossroads – still relying on the classic iconography of Phases 1-3, while making initial, if hesitant, steps into the MCU's future.
The latest LEGO Marvel sets demonstrate that the age range for this brand is shifting upward. There are more adult and teen sets – catering to the generation that came of age during the Infinity Saga – and more model-oriented builds, designed for display over play.
TL;DR: Best LEGO Marvel Sets in 2025
We removed the retired sets and added the best of the brand new. Here are the top LEGO Marvel sets that you can buy in 2025. More of a DC fan? Check out our roundup of the best LEGO Batman sets.
X-Men: The X-Mansion
A trove of Easter eggs and nostalgic references, the X-Mansion comes with a massive Sentinel robot and ten minifigures. They are, collectively, some of the best-designed minifigures in recent LEGO history; the Cyclops and Gambit especially stand out for their costuming and creative use of accessories. The mansion's exterior is classic, old money architecture, and the mansion's interior includes Jean Grey's lab, the Danger Room, and Cerebro. If you're a fan of the X-Men movies and comics, this is a must-have set.
Spider-Man Daily Bugle
This massive set is not tied to the MCU. Instead, it's a celebration of all things Spider-Man, with 25 Minifigures in all – everyone from Peter Parker to Dr. Octopus to Venom to Spider-Gwen to Mysterio. It even has more ancillary characters like the Black Cat, the Punisher, and J. Jonah Jameson. The building itself is a classic gray high-rise, with plenty of staging elements to recreate every classic Spidey battle.
Infinity Gauntlet
Two LEGO Marvel gauntlets are available for purchase. There's Thanos' gauntlet, which the Mad King used to destroy half of all life in the universe – and Stark's gauntlet, which Hulk used in Endgame to bring everybody back. Although the latter looks cool, we prefer the original version, for its ornate, golden ostentatiousness.
Avengers Tower
Nearly three feet high, the Avengers Tower looks incredible from every angle, and it features a whopping 31 Minifigures – of everyone who was someone in the MCU during the Infinity Saga. It has a completely furnished interior, with tons of Easter eggs from every film, from Iron Man to Endgame, and a 271-window exterior that gives the Tower its trademark glass-encased look.
Guardians of the Galaxy: The Milano
Based on Star Lord's ship from the first film, this LEGO build of The Milano has a detachable top, which reveals a flight deck, and two compartments for rest and relaxation. It comes with adjustable wings, four minifigures (Star Lord, Gamora, Rocket, and Drax), and a Baby Groot.
Dancing Groot
I love models that have mechanical movement built into them, and the Dancing Groot more than fits the bill. When you turn a crank on the back of the pot, Groot will sway and dance. Jackson Five, anyone?
Spider-Man - Final Battle
The build captures No Way Home's climactic final battle, where the three iterations of Spider-Man (Maguire, Garfield, and Holland) teamed up to take down a multiverse of bad guys on Liberty Island. The set comes with the aforementioned Spider-Man minifigures, plus additional minifigures of, Electro, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Ned, and MJ. And there's also a really cool Easter Egg; open up Lady Liberty's head, and you'll find Sandman's massive hand inside.
Spider-Man's Mask
LEGO Marvel loves designing these poseable busts and heads of its iconic heroes and villains. The latest one is this Spider-Man mask, which comes mounted on a stand with a plaque.
The Avengers vs. The Leviathan
Inspired by the Battle of New York in the first Avengers film, this set includes a massive Leviathan on a clear stand and five minifigures: Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, Loki and a Chitauri. Note: if you already have the big Avengers Tower, this set will be redundant. But this is an excellent entry point for someone who is a younger, less experienced builder.
Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene
It's pitched at a lower age range, but don't let that fool you. Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene captures the climax of Spider-Man 2 (2004), during which Spidey waged an city-spanning battle against Dr. Octopus. Directed by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell), Spider-Man 2 did a better job of capturing Peter Parker's angst and conflicting priorities than any film before or since. This set consists of one subway car, four minifigures (Spidey, J. Jonah Jameson, Aunt May, and Doc Ock), and enough webbing to slow a runaway train.
Why Buy LEGO Marvel Sets?
Compared to other themes, like Star Wars and Harry Potter, Marvel skews towards a younger audience, with smaller sets that emphasize the mini-figures and storytelling potential rather than the construction. The Marvel theme has only recently started to launch more technical, ambitious sets for its older audience.
Overall, if you're either a parent of a precocious child or an adult who's looking to pick up LEGO as a hobby, Marvel is a rudimentary access point. There is a such a wide variety of characters and subthemes that you're bound to gravitate towards something. All things considered, these LEGO sets are an excellent place to begin that building journey.
